I was referred to Hilingdon Hospital for antenatal care by my GP on 24/04/16. My GP said they will be in touch by the 1st of March. No one has contacted me so yesterday (14/03) I started ringing to check what happened. I rang constantly for 2 hours between 2.10pm and 4pm when the line closed for the day so I couldn't get through. I rang again this morning and thankfully someone picked up but unfortunately they could't help as they said I needed to book myself online or bring the referral to the reception because my GP hadn't attached the referral. I decided to book myself online as I work full time and cannot take time off for anything. When trying to log in to book myself for the appointment an error came up saying that my booking reference has expired.
This should be exciting and happy times especialy given that I have a previous miscarriage but this whole saga is not helping at all.
I understand that people working in this hospital are busy but there should be a way of getting things sorted easily as in other hospitals (Whipps Cross Hospital for example with an amazing maternity unit, unfortunately had to move from there)
