"Takes too long to get back in touch with you"

I had a mid-op booked to remove a plate from my mouth as it's causing abscesses and it's very painful. I then got a letter a week before the appointment to say it was cancelled (think it was due to the strikes) but I didn't haven't heard anything after 2 months. I've called the department three times and been told they'll get back in touch with me with another appointment but heard nothing. I need this appointment booked because I'm in a lot of pain but no-one seem bothered.
