"Do people use Patient Opinion"

Thank you for the comment and feedback - Yes people really do use Patient Opinion! So far several thousand have posted a comment and an equal number rated a service. And hospitals really do take notice - and sometimes change things . But you as you've probably noticed coverage is pretty patchy. Of course we'd like lots of stories about every hospital in the land. But until we reach this point (we're working on it through national press release and coverage), it makes much more sense to concentrate on particular areas - after all 500 comments about one hospital are much more use than 500 comments about 500 hospitals. What's more Patient Opinion is a not-for-profit social enterprise - which means that we're completely independent (which is the most important thing) but dont also means we dont have the kind of money to invest in media campaigns that would be available if we were for-profit (which is a pity!). Never mind, working area by area means that hospitals and PCTs in these areas are much more likley to subscribe to Patient Opinion ... and so we grow organically city by city.
