"Misdiagnosed & obvious symptoms ignored"

I was seen at the Urgent Care centre with mainly symptoms of a drooping eyelid, double vision and light sensitivity. After assessments at the Urgent Care Centre (Triage) it was put down to migraines and I was given Aspirin and sent home. The Dr wasn't particularly sympathetic & I felt like I was being interrogated throughout the whole process. I would like to note, that at no point was I even seen by a Neurologist. My symptoms persisted and 3 weeks later I just decided to pay for a Private Neurologist. I have now been correctly diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, which could have caused me to have breathing difficulties if not treated soon enough. My symptoms were typical of Myasthenia Gravis and I feel let down that I was not seen by a Neurologist that day and was simply sent away with Aspirin.
