After an x-ray I was told I could go home but needed antibiotics before I went and for the morning. 4 hours after the doctor decided to chase them up at the pharmacist, they was not ready. He went round the wards and got me enough till morning.
I was told it would be another four hours before they would be ready and could I pick them up the next day. My daughter went the next morning and they weren’t ready. I think this is disgusting; we could have gone to Spain and back for them. I think it should be sorted out.
It also happened last December my daughter was discharged at 2 o’clock and had to go back at 8 o’clock for the prescription. I feel like we should have a choice to go elsewhere for the medication. I do not want to stay longer just waiting for a prescription for 8 hours then told it’s not ready. I believe the “why” needs investigating now.
