What I liked
There seemed to be no communication between departments. Although I was trated ok there were times when they tried to send me home without having the treatment I needed, and I was unable to eat or drink without having severe pain. I know that if I had gone home it would have taken a month or so longer for me to get the treatment needed. Then when put into the private ward a nurse was making my bed and put the clean lined on the floor near where some blood spots were on the floor. And when on the cheddar ward I was extremly limited as to what I could eat. It seamed that my only choice was jacket potato and beans for each main course. This was not because of a faddy diet but I was unable to eat fat.
What could be improved
More low fat food
Staff to be shown hygine protocol (mrsa) risks
main points of treatment to be passed to other staff who are included in the treatment
