"DVT treatment"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

I had occasion to be treated at the DVT Clinic at the QMC, the level of treatment and care was excellent.

I had to go from there to have an ultrasound done the next day which discovered a 10cm blood clot in my left leg, again the service and treatment were second to none.

The nurse in the anticoagulant clinic explained everything in ways I was fully able to understand, and am now doing the injections into my tummy the way they showed me with no problems. The care and attitude of all the staff involved in my treatment made me feel very safe and secure.

From the time I saw my GP who arranged for me to go for treatment to having it all arranged and finished was within 24hrs.

It does not get much better than that.

A big heartfelt thank you to you all.
