"Hip replacement"

About: Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

I was admitted on to ward 28 for a hip replacement in January this year. I cannot praise the staff enough for there care. The consultant, the nurses, the physiotherapist and the domestics were excellent and very professional at all times. My recovery was remarkable and this was all down to the staff who cared for me. The ward manager should be very proud of their team, there was one HCA in particular who was excellent at their job.I am a staff nurse myself at another trust, I think we should get some recognition for how well we all work in a very demanding job. Thank you to everyone who looked after me.

Thank you for your very kind comments. It will give me pleasure to share your feedback with the ward manager and all the other teams you have mentioned. As a staff nurse yourself you have an understanding of how hard the job can be, and the positive effect good feedback brings to a team.
