"Treated like a private patient"

About: Christchurch Hospital

For the second time Christchurch Hospital Rheumatology Dept have come to my rescue with amazing effect.

Firstly about 5 years ago I was almost paralized down my left side, with what the doctor immediately diagonised as PMR. Now I am back to normal on the case and almost free of all medication.

I returned last autumn with a truly servere ongoing pain in my thigh.

I have seen the doctor and their team 3 times, have had an MRI,CT Scans, Blood tests, X-rays, and have just been discharged.

No words that I can express can thank the doctor, their secretary and their whole team for being so caring, professional and kind.

Just hope this note goes a little way to saying it all.

Dear Dawn

Thank you for sharing your experience of our Rheumatology Service both past and present.

We are pleased to hear you have had such good service throughout your care and I hope your recent visits are helping to relieve the pain in your thigh and bring you back to health once again.

I will be sure to pass on your kind comments to the team leader to share with the department as they always appreciate receiving feedback from patients.

Thank you again for your comments and we wish you well for the future.

Regards

Sue Mellor
