psyc staff very good, dbt very good. everything else awful - my idea of prison - nursing/hca/managing staff terrible, rude, disrespectful, overworked, underpaid, no time for anyone, no consistency, new bank staff that didnt know what they wherre doing everyday, they were particularly awful.
Everyone got so fat in there and all my discharged friends and me ended up back in acute units because of unresolved problems.
Spent all my time in there officially complaining time after time, only some resolved, some half resolved.
Environment horrific! New Dawn Ward - absolute hell, im not kidding. Those photos don't show what its like.
Desperately need more NHS money to specifically sort out the environment - they did it for Hooper ward (below) but not our ward.
The good staff left :( - they left they where too good for it
Even the staff dont like it there! I know that as fact - maybe thats why they dont work well.
