What I liked
not a lot
What could be improved
I had to wait in a cubicle all afternoon and evening for a brain scan which never happened and then I was admitted overnight to a ward. (My family were shouted at in A&E when they asked staff for my daily GP prescription for anti-seizure drugs.) Had to wait in the ward all the next day for my discharge prescription, thus blocking a bed. A waiting room for discharged patients whilst waiting for their prescriptions from the hospital pharmacy would be so much more efficient, enabling those patients who are waiting in the A&E cubicles to be allotted a bed on the wards.
Anything else?
The staff are very stressed because of the chaotic conditions on the A&E department. There seems to be a lack of communication between various departments.
