"Excellent and professional"

I had a large cyst on the back off my head that had an abscess formed and was very painful. I had this for several months. Having private health care I arranged to see a consultant on friday 18th March with a view off removal however after been away working for several weeks returning on in early march I was in alot of pain so went to the accident and emergency department I was very sceptical due to waiting around which I knew but I have to say what fantastic staff. From booking in to having bloods taken to seeing a consultant a decision was made to operate the following day. I attended the surgical assessment centre at 1200hrs and could not believe how well looked after I was. The staff are amazing from care assistants to surgeon. The whole procedure was done under general anthesetic which I was not looking forward to be with such professional staff was put at ease and was discharged within hours and pain free apart from a short hair cut which I rather like. it doesnt mean having private health care gets you any better or faster treatment. Hospitals especially Darent valley often get criticised or bad press but all the staff from my initial meeting through to surgery were excellent and professional. I would like them to be praised for there care which I received.
