"Great treatment by Gyn team at Derriford"

I was referred to Derriford for post menopausal bleeding and my initial appointment was at the Maternity Wing which seemed a little disorganised on first impression, but I then learnt that an extra clinic had been squeezed in resulting in necessary testing equipment being in two different treatment rooms – a minor inconvenience in exchange for prompt treatment.

The following day surgery appointment came through very quickly and the procedure was carried out in a friendly and considerate manner.

The only down side was that an earlier ‘patient’ had delayed the days operating list by disappearing from the waiting area so delaying my operation till 18:55!

My particular thanks to the surgical team for pushing to undertake my surgery despite the lateness of the day.
