I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for all that your staff did for my family and I on a very sad day.

The day before my brothers wedding, my elderly grandad was taken to hospital and was acutely unwell. He was treated with dignity and respect, and I know he would have been so grateful. He had dementia, and was treated exactly how you would hope. You made sure he wasn't in pain, was comfortable and peaceful in his final hours.

We were given space, privacy, were never rushed and the staff were just wonderful. To the nurses and doctors that looked after us that day, I will always be thankful! Always.

Please accept our condolences on behalf of your family on the death of your granddad.

It is pleasing to read that the situation was made as good as it could be through the care your grandfather and the family received. Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us. Your comments have been passed to the matron for the area to ensure the staff know the difference they can make to families in our care.
