I got referred to a physiotherapist from my GP at St. Leonards and firstly I had to wait one month to get my appointment and within this month my wrist/ carpal tunnel has been getting increasingly worse and worse. I tried contacting st leonards on multiple occasions to get an earlier appointment but they wouldn't make any changes or wouldn't find any suitable times.
After waiting a month for the first appointment I then got referred to a specialist and had to wait three weeks for this up coming appointment even though I am in excruciating pain.
I have already been prescribed painkillers from my GP and they aren't at all helping.
I understand that there are priority lists with NHS but in general the service I received from the front desk reception has been awful at St. Leonards. Everytime that I've spoken with the receptionist who seems to be angry or unwilling to talk. The receptionist sounds constantly annoyed and unhelpful to give me further advise. Very rude and impolite.
"Took two months to see a specialist."
