"My day excursion to the day care unit for surgery."

I was met in a friendly and professional way,was given clear instructions of the routine of my day ahead, my area was clean and uncluttered.My identity was continually checked and important questions asked eg allergies etc.I was visited by my consultant and anaesthetist who explained the procedure I was to have,I felt confident that I was in safe hands.My recovery has proceeded well and I am delighted at the result of my surgery.Thanks to all concerned.
