Had to attend here on the 2nd march 2016. Found all the staff to be very efficient and pleasant.
I attended to have a colonoscopy, feeling a little nervous I was soon made to feel at ease by the staff involved.
Before my procedure my endoscopist came and discussed the procedure with me.
They made me feel totally at ease, explaining the procedure clearly and concisely.
When I entered the room where the procedure was to take place I was introduced to the two nurses who very ably assisted the endoscopist throughout the procedure.
During the procedure itself I was able to watch the skill of the endoscopist working their way all around my colon, taking the time to give a very good commentary.
Also during the procedure, because I had refused sedation ( always been nosey and wanted to be aware of what was going on ) the nurse was on hand to assist with some gas & air. found I only needed three puffs.
Finally if you do have to attend for a colonoscopy, I can say there is nothing to worry about. You will be in very safe and capable hands.
"Endoscopy suite 5 star."
