"111 service was not understanding but when help was recieved it was good"

About: DHU Healthcare CIC / NHS 111 Millbrook Mental Health Unit

(as the patient),

Initially I did not find the 111 service understanding or helpful, at a time when I felt desperate for help. Once admitted to a psychiatric ward in hospital I found the staff understanding and helpful.

Th support care after discharge from hospital has been good, especially the doctor, psychiatric nurses and physiologist.

Not fully recovered but up to now I have found the health service received good.

I'm sorry you found the 111 service unhelpful. I'm afarid that service is not run by Nottinghamshire Healthcare. I am really pleased that you feel the response you have had in Hospital has been helpful. If you would like me to pass your comments on to the staff involved then please let me know which ward you were on.

Many thanks for posting.

Julie
