I was very impressed with the care I received today.
Friendly, caring staff who were efficient, kind, skilled and knowledgeable.
I knew I had tonsillitis, as I get it lots, but as it was a Saturday I knew I couldn't get antibiotics from my GP.
Went to the Urgent Care clinic.
Had to wait about 40 minutes all told, but this wasn't a problem as the whole system seemed well organised so I knew I would get my turn.
Saw a Practitioner who was lovely and prescribed me penicillin.
I didn't even have to go to a chemist to get them as they let you pay at a big machine and then give them to you there and then.
This is the NHS at its best; free, efficient friendly care.
Well done.
