About: University Hospital Hairmyres / General Surgery (Ward 5)

(as the patient),

I was sent to ward 4 from A + E, I was very ill + in pain + very weak, I just want to say that I honestly was treated "VERY WELL", + I found the nurses + doctors "VERY HELPFULL + FRIENDLY + PLEASENT! I was given the medication I needed + the nurses could'nt do enough for me! I went on to be discharged some time later + am now fully recovered! I just want to say how very very gratefull I am to the GREAT NURSES + DOCTORS + porters too in WARD 4. I could, nt have been treated better. (GREAT STAFF).

Dear jonny 52,

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your journey through Hairmyres Hospital. I noticed you had good interactions with several staff and departments from A&E to Ward 4 and included our wonderful portering staff along with our Doctors and Nurses.

It is never pleasant having to come into hospital and I'm very pleased that your experience was helped by all of our staff as we strive to work as a team throughout the Hospital to provide a high level of person centred care.

I will be delighted to pass on your kind comments to all the staff and departments you have thanked.

gwen, thank you for your reply, i really appreciate it! you all do a amazing job at hairmyres! A + E + all the staff at WARD-4 were great to me! (THANKS AGAIN GWEN).
