"Getting Head Stitched Up in A&E"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

I was stupid enough to fall over in Manchester city centre yesterday and went to MRI A&E to get my head wound stitched up.

All the staff were excellent.

They were evidently under huge pressure with a full waiting room.

Okay, I had to wait a long time, but the doctor who eventually stitched me up was brilliant. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments about your experience in the A&E Department at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. It was reassuring to read that you felt the staff were excellent. However, we do recognise and apologise for the length of time you had to wait to be seen. It is always good to be able to share positive feedback which reflects our staff’s hard work and dedication. I can assure you that we have passed on your feedback to the Operations Manager of the A&E Department so that it can be shared with the staff.
