"Difficulties with the new booking system"

(as the patient),

Whenever we visited a clinic we used to book the next appointment while we were there, so that we chose a suitable time & date, to fit in with work etc.

Now the booking system has changed and we have to wait for an appointment letter to arrive, which is inevitably never suitable. This results in having to cancel, and then endure an extended wait for the next appointment.

In the past two weeks I've had to cancel appointments with 3 different clinics because the appointments sent are unsuitable. It has resulted in having to wait another six weeks now.

I don't see how this new system is more effecient, or user friendly
