"I will never forget my birth experience, thanks..."

About: St Helier Hospital

During the last few months of my pregnancy as you can imagine I was scared, nervous and very anxious. I hated having sweeps and internal checks- it was so uncomfortable but having has explained all my worries and anxieties to the midwives they were absolutely brilliant. I had heard so many horror stories about birth and the maternity staff and I can honestly say that this was not the case for me. Every false alarm, every worry right through to the labour, birth and after care I cannot fault. The support I had was unmeasurable and makes me excited to have a second baby at hopefully this hospital. It only would've taken a bad word to ruin it all but the support and the encouragement was beyond anythung. Thank you. You are all doing a fantastic job so thank you. Us, as new mothers owe a heck of a lot to you and you deserve so much more recognition than you are given. ☺️

Thank you so much for this wonderful feedback! We are really pleased to hear you had such a positive experience of our maternity services, and that you found the support you received from the team so exceptional. We will pass your comments on to the Head of Midwifery so that she can share with the team.
