What I liked
1 young midwife tried to be helpful but seemed not to be listeded to
What could be improved
connection to patient was non existant, No time or care, I was given penicillen which on my wrist band said I was allergic, my GP has had to sort that out. No continuity with notices. No visiting other than father, some beds had groups of people around, so the rule should have no exceptions, the problems would not appear. from start to finish the Birth of my Son should have been the most wonderful experiance.
It was made a disaster and terrible experiance by the staff at the maternity section.
Anything else?
We feel that we should take this further, not sure yet, But we cannot offer any saving features for this maternity unit.
