"Thank You to Nursing Staff Ward F65"

Recently my 22 month old daughter was admitted to Ward F65 Sunderland Royal Hospital. She was extremely poorly, with severe breathing problems and a high temperature. Although she was initially suspected to have Swine Flu it turned out to be Bronchiolitis. We are not strangers to F65 as she has been admitted with breathing problems on a number of occassions and the care she has received has always been very good. This visit was particularly prolonged and she had to stay in for 10 days, finally being discharged on Christmas Eve.

The facilities for parents are good, and as I stay in hospital with my daughter it makes life a little easier. The rooms are cleaned 2-3 times per day and hygiene was a top priority.

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who cared for our daughter,through this visit and in previous ones! Especially thanks to Dawn, Becca, Dani and all those whose names I am sorry to say I have forgotten in the stress of the her illness. As my daughter has been admitted an number of times it has been wonderful to have the same nurses caring for her on each visit, ..they always remember us! They are always caring and professional, even when busy and our experiences have been positive ones.
