I gave them hell but it didn't make any difference.
When we got to the Hospital they had another patient in Moms bed & had left Mom in a chair in the middle of the bay with a table in front of her & three plastic bags by her feet with all her stuff in them. She was in flood's of tears after being put to the chair at 9am this morning. She said l didn't think you wanted me or love me any more. I waited to speak to a Doctor after the nurse said she could not have more than a liter of fluids a day. The nurse also said that Moms heart was fine. When l challenged them about her oxygen levels they said she had been okay with no oxygen. When l saw the Doctor they said she has had a scan of her heart & it shows a problem with the left chamber of her heart this is the bit that pumps the blood around. Mom can drink fluids with no limit on how much she drinks. They then made me wait twenty mins for her tablets & the discharge letter. When l got home we found that they have not given us all the tablets so we had to ring the ward & then Dad went back down at 6 for the tablets. The discharge letter talks about diagnosis of Acute Kidney Injury stage 1 we have been told nothing about this so l will need to catch up with the GP next week. There is no wonder they are in special measure because they have not got a clue. Lets hope they have not sent her home too early, she looks so frail & old it breaks my heart. On a good note at least she will feel safe, secure & loved at home which she never has in here!!
