"severe morning sickness"

Came in at 5pm after calling iheartbarnsley who told me to come to a&e for referral to early pregnancy unit. Booked in and sat. Got called after 15mins to triage who took bp n blood sugars n told me to wait.

At 7pm still not seen a doc n a member of staff who came from triage asked what wait time was n was told 3 hours from booking in. I thought aint that great i should be seen soon but then not going to refer me as epu closes at 8pm.

Ive not kept anything down all day. Sat there with people snacking while waiting. Surely its my time soon. No one else got called for ages.

Told a nurse that im fed up of waiting n how long am i going to be. They couldnt tell me. I said well its 3 hours now n im going home. They said to tell reception. Sat waited until 8.30 and still not called so left.

You really need to keep patients informed on whats going off n waiting times.
