About: Scunthorpe General Hospital

Admitted 21st December 15, discharged 11th Jan 16 four operations including Christmas Day, I was in ICU on life support for ten days, transferred to HOBS on the morning of New Years Day to a wonderful nursing team, I'm longing to go back and thank the unseen Heros in ICU, I had the best surgeon I could have wished for, who diagnosed and fixed me my condition carried a high mortality rate of about 90% and on top of that I had sepsis, this team literally saved my life, I will never ever forget myself and my family including our two foster children owe you a great gratitude, I'm alive because of you thank you from the bottom of my heart
