"Can't keep track of appointment notes"

About: East Surrey Hospital

They can't even keep track of patient notes they supposedly made. Over two months after my appointment my GP still has not been sent the letter that was promised by the Dr and after three weeks of calling the reception to try and find these notes/letter I am told they still have no idea what happened and there are no notes for my GP and no comment on further tests.

Absolutely atrocious care, as they can't even be bothered to retype the notes, unless they have lost them completely in which case this is a data protection issue

Dear Anonymous,

I am sorry to hear of the difficulties you are having tracking down notes relating to your appointment. For us to assist in resolving this issue we will need to know more details. Could you please contact our PALS office either by emailing them at: pals@sash.nhs.uk or calling 01737 231 958. They will be able to look into it for you.

Kind regards,

Cathy White
