The podiatry service has more than 4 weeks waiting time for an appointment. On my first appointment I was seen by a member of staff who is the slowest person ever met. I could not attend my second appointment due to a delayed overseas flight and I got discharged, not matter how hard I tried to explain my circumstances to the patronizing podiatrist, or to explain that their automated line never picked up my call the first time, and their number can not be called at. Instead of arranging for a later appointment, they resolutely discharged me and proudly advised me to go back to my GP, get another referral, and try and book an appointment again through a renewed referral. I can not comment enough on the Kafkaesque policies of this department and the lack of judgement of its staff, at the expense of people's time and health, my GPs time, and the taxpayers money.
