"disappointment in decisions and waiting"

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

Recently sadly I had a visit to this hospital but I was kept waiting for a bed in AMU for 12 hours and when the decision came I was transferred not to a ward but to a chair and a room because they thought they couldn't do much else fir me. I was cold tired and hungry and was given tablets on a empty stomach tablets I couldn't take despite me telling the doctor I was told I had to take them and now 4 days kater at home through these tablets I'm still very giddy.

Dear Patient

We would like to offer our apologies for the long wait you experienced on AMU. Our emergency services are very busy and this has led to a delay and a poor experience for you when you were feeling unwell.

If you would like to make a formal complaint, please email my colleagues at:

Kind regards

Janice Bradfield
