"Public Holographic Information Terminal"

I visited Sandwell hospital recently, there is an automatic holographic terminal that gives information about the services that the hospital offers and what we as patients should expect from them. There are many people from various parts of the world speaking in their own native tongue/ "language" . There is one particular tongue that was spoken by a female Jamaican that I found to be very disrespectful. As a Jamaican, I should state that not only was is offensive but a stereotypical and degrading of our country men and women and our culture. I look at it as a mocking of who I am and the people of my country. It portrays us as we are illiterate, and not knowing or have an understanding of the Englishman language. I must point out at this stage that "patois" is not a language but merely a form of slang. It bewilders me why you would have this person speaking in slang to represent all Jamaicans within and outside of the U.K. Hence I must remind you, that in Jamaica our first and spoken language is English and not all Jamaicans would like to be associated with the patois slang. I am kindly asking you to revisit this terminal and consider removing that poor representation of me and my fellow Jamaicans.
