"Excellent care and service but ..................."

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford)

Daughter not having been registered into system meant that she was reported as a missing person when no-one had seen her for 8 hours after she'd been taken in by ambulance.

Caused lot of unnecessary worry and heartache but the care she received was fantastic.

A patient can only be registered onto the NHS system if they can confirm their identity; sometimes patients cannot confirm these details and a temporary identification is given. Every attempt would be made to identify the person and the police service would assist with contacting their next of kin, we are sorry for any distress caused. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your concerns. If you would like to speak with us pease contact our PALS service on 01392 402093. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.
