"Compassionate care"

I have just returned home after having a gynaecology operation 4 days ago. I went into the Hospital quite worried about the operation and care but apart from a long (4 Hour ) wait in the waiting room waiting for a bed every member of staff were very kind and compassionate. The ward was bright airy and very clean and the food I had while I was there was very good!

I understand that sometimes a wait for a bed is unavoidable but we sat for 4 hours with no update from anyone so a little communication at that point would have been good . I was given little booklets to tick boxes pre op and post op which actually didn't get used and seem a bit of a waste of money as all the same was discussed with staff . I would definitely say to anyone about to go in for an op , don't worry this Hospital is very good.
