"Waiting since September 2015 for MRI scan to..."

I was referred for an MRI scan on my brain to rule out cancer in September. My GP has contacted Nye Bevan House radiology department on many occasions but I still have not been given an appointment. I have a history of cancer and need to rule out brain tumour as I have had headaches since August 2015.

I have been refused a scan on the grounds that I had a heart operation 52 years ago and the radiologist thinks I may have metal in my heart. I have not got metal in my heart and I have had an MRI scan on my back at Rochdale in the last 12 months and was fine.

I find this totally unacceptable.
