"Brilliant service"

About: Wharfedale Hospital

Went to Otley walk in centre yesterday (9/2/16) for advice on very bad stomach ache.

I was seen straight away, even though I was advised that there was no doctors there at that time a nurse would help me as much as possible. The nurse that I saw was professional, easy to talk to and made me feel relaxed. They asked me a list of questions and examined my stomach.

Unfortunately where the pain was coming from indicated problems with my kidneys or appendix. The nurse rang the surgical assessment unit at St. James' Hospital and organised for a transfer ASAP. Thanks to this nurse I'm having IV antibiotics for a very serious kidney infection that I would have otherwise ignored.

An absolute credit to the NHS - just wish is got their name to put in an actual compliment. :)
