"We could not manage without all these caring people in Rawmarsh"

About: Rotherham PCT / District nursing

(as a carer),

My husband has had Parkinson's disease for many years and then several years ago he slipped down and then he had a stroke. Since that time we have had carers come into the home 4 to 5 times a day. A medical carer at night time. The district nurse visits once a week, every other day if my husband is unwell with bed sores.

The service that we receive is excellent and we could not manage without all of these caring people coming in to help us in Rawmarsh. I wanted to say thank you to everyone, we have had nothing but excellent care.

When my husband was in hospital many years ago, he also had excellent care.

I support the organisation in making sure that the voice of patients and the public is heard and used in planning services. This involves running events, managing surveys, and building networks with the local community.

Thankyou for taking the time to tell us about the care and support you get.

I'm so pleased that this is working well for you.

I will pass your comments on to the staff who organise and provide this care.
