I suffered a complex shoulder fracture following a fall and was admitted to Valentine Ellis ward on referral from another hospital.

The consultant's team explained clearly what all the surgical options were before the operation took place the next day. At all times the staff on the ward in whatever capacity and at all levels although very busy remained professional and took time to be kind.
