"Bad nurse on Deene B,shocking discharge from..."

About: Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Major bowel surgery and majority were stars on Deene B- two who should not work on there. One who was angry at a patient and another nurse who was totally disinterested on day shift on 15/1!

Surgeon , their registrar, two nurses have just saved a life from cancer and everyone should be made aware of their amazing and absolute professional work/ skills.

Other nurses and HCAs on Deene B are passionate about what they do and do an amazing job- a brilliant team - what a difference to patients if they have a comfortable night- I will forever remember your care- true professionals.

However, my move for the last night due to bad hospital planning meant I had a horrid discharge from Geddington Ward on 18/1- with rude and unprofsiional conduct from the ward sister and their management approach. This will be taken up further with the trust. If a manager makes a decision ( without discussing with the patient) that they would not expect of their own loved ones then they should not be in nursing - it is a passion and not a 'business' job. The formal complaint will be forwards to all the relevant staff.

Endoscopy, the registrar and nurse team should lead the training in this hospital as they are pure professionals who strive to work at the highest standard with amazing professionalism and have literally saved my life!
