"Day Surgery Unit"

Spent the morning of 4th Feb at the day procedure unit having throat surgery. What I expected to be a frightening and daunting time turned out to run smoothly and my mind was put at ease by the fab staff. From the health care assistants, nurses, theatre staff, reception and consultants that I met during my stay I was treated with the greatest respect and dignity right from the start.

Every single member of staff I encountered without exception was welcoming, gentle and kindly towards me. All questions answered caringly and fully, and I didn't feel rushed at all. What a shining example of excellent clinical care!
