We hear so many negative comments about the NHS so I feel its only right to praise the level of care that I received at Halton General.
I had been transferred from Warrington Hospital, where I had been receiving excellent care, to Halton for surgery.
Although I was aware that the same team of doctors and surgeons would be looking after me, I didn't know what to expect.
So it came as a pleasant surprise when I was admitted to ward B4, where the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable during my brief stay.
Everyone from the cleaners, upwards are a credit to both hospitals, and I can't thank them enough for caring for me.
It wouldn't be fair to single anyone out in particular because they all pulled together as a team, in short they were/are marvellous.
I'm pleased to say that I'm now back on my feet and getting on with life, and that is down to the dedication and care of your staff, thank you.
