"A big THANK YOU"

About: Worthing Hospital

I cannot believe that I found my self back in the operating room July 29th 2015.( Southlands in April 2015) This time for a fractured ankle. I cannot thank all the staff enough, from the Ambulance crew that took me. All the staff in A&E (hopefully the nurse who put the back slab on, has now been signed off from this target, you did a good job by the way) the lovely radiographer who was very gentle in breaking (no pun intended) the news to me. The nursing staff, especially one nurse. Including non non nursing staff. Clapham ward was immaculate, the food was lovely. The theatre staff were very reassuring and caring. Physio staff explained everything clearly. But I did resort in coming down the stairs on my bottom (I didn't trust myself with the crutches). Outpatients and "plaster" staff wonderful. The surgeon did a fantastic job on my ankle, hardly a scar. I had my cast off today and was told the best news I have heard in for 7 weeks. You can now weight bear, walk and drive when you are ready to. 100% again Worthing Hospital, thank you for all that has been done for me. Kindest regards, Linda "Lyn"
