"Coronary arteries bypass grafts 51 year..."

Went to hospital on 30/06/15 with chest pains, was soon told i had a heart attack and several tests, was told i would need an operation to replace to coronary arteries,,, to say i was scared was an understatement, i believed that i would be the one that would not come home, i gave brief instructions for my funeral to my partner. Yes i admit i am a little paranoid but that is how i felt at the time. I had the operation on 16/7/2014, been home around 10 days and i cant really believe how well am recovering,,, this operation petrified me,,, but i would like to assure people you have nothing to fear, don't torment yourself like me, the care and treatment you get in Blackpool cardiac unit is outstanding, all the people are marvellous.. And very highly skilled. You are very well looked after by people who care.
