"6 months on waiting list so far and still..."

I have been told of two possible months of my surgery for a minor procedure and one overnight stay but only when I ring in !

I then hear nothing and phone again to be told no time scale of how much longer I have to wait so could be a few more months ....its not good enough !!!

Also , it would be nice to have a letter to explain the reason behind the extremely long waiting lists instead of us having to just call in each time and be told something different each time.
