I never in a million years would have expected such fantastic and attentive care to be possible in a busy NHS hospital, battered by government cuts and policies.
Of the dozens of staff in various roles who handled us, every single one of them was professional, and approachable from a communicative angle. 24,7, no matter how much hard work I could be.
Maximum respect to all staff. Hospital was immaculate, equipment in good condition, sheets and beds comfy, even the food was good... It certainly all made a difficult yet amazing task of giving birth so much more comfortable.
The breastfeeding support was outstanding. One of the midwives attending to those of us with difficulties, persevering and really taking ownership of the responsibility of ensuring we get off to the best start with breastfeeding. What an asset.
Outstanding care!
"Gobsmacked! Outstanding level of care"
