"An apparent lack of care re drugs"

My husband was taken by ambulance to A&E to the Tunbridge Wells . There were issues dealing with the behaviour whilst our house my main concern however regards the prescribed medicine taken in the ambulance with him. They were taken in an orange container with double closing mechanism and a timer together with a chemists bottle. they never arrived into the M A U room where he was transferred to at about 3 30a m They are either in the ward or P cubicle in A&E or still in the ambulance Trying to find them I was met in the wards with a general disinterest no search was made, I met the same response in A&E. An ambulance driver did try to help by ringing their ' office ' unfortunately they were unable to find which team was responsible for picking him up even when they gave the address and time of the pick up. I could not find out what tablets my husband received whilst in the hospital Fortunately I managed to get him discharged to get to our local chemist who provided-sufficient tablets for the weekend The only person in the ward who seemed to care was one of the social workers When I arrived my husband was asleep with his head hanging out of bed I had to search for some to lift the sides. When we were trying to leave my husband had canulas in his arm It took me an hour to get them removed in spite of the fact that several people had already left. The main problem was that there was only one nurse on the ward. The lack of supervision off both patients an drugs is disturbing especially as this is not the first time his drugs have gone missing .There is no accountability.
