"poor service"

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

I was admitted to oldham hospital via my gp on monday 15th September 2014 and arrived a general triage at 7.00pm. I was told to wait in the waiting room. I wasn't examined until 10pm sent for a x ray at 11 pm and told to go back to the waiting room. I sat in total from 7pm till 3 am next morning before a bed was given to me (apparently they were very busy). However two other gentleman were also waiting for a bed. One from 9am in the morning till 3 am and a elderly gentleman from 12pm till 2.30am (very poor service indeed). I was admitted due to severe constipaton for 16 days (all other laxatives had failed to work). I was discharge the same morning after being in bed for 5 hours to be told I 'would get an urgent colonoscopy. I attended a colonoscopy on saturday 20th september 2014 on Ward G3. Staff were nice. The nurse wouldn't put my venflon in, but the doctor would. Was taken into Endoscopy at 10 am doctor tried one attempt to put venflon in my arm and one attempt in my hand for sedation but told me they couldn't get the venflon in and they would have to try to do the endoscopy with Gas and Air. They tried it for a couple of minutes but it was too painful, and was abandoned - they couldn't do it - and was told that I would get an outpatient appointment in 3 to 4 weeks. The doctor suggested I try laxatives. Don't you think I've tried these for the last 17 days to no avail. So tell me what am I to do now!!!!!! Back to square one.
