"Ward 18 Thumbs up"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

My mother who suffers from Alzheimers disease unfortunately broke her hip at her nursing home and had to be operated on and cared for on Ward 18 from 11/8/14 to 29/08/14. From the time she arrived on the ward until she left I cannot fault one bit. The Doctors, nurses, HCA's, cleaners etc were lovely to my mum despite her being at times aggressive due to her illness. They were so understanding and made what was a traumatic time for my mother and our family more easier to deal with. Special thanks to all staff.

Dear reviewer,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your mother's recent experience with ward 18. We are incredibly proud of our team and have a commitment to providing the best possible care, especially to those with Alzheimers and dementia.

We have passed your lovely comments onto the Matron, and Charge Nurse, to share with the wider team.

With best wishes to you, your mother and your family,
