"Extremely oversubscribed"

It's very difficult to get an appointment. The reception staff are presumably over worked because they are brusque, defensive and often downright hostile. Fairly unsurprising that they need protective glass, given their condescending, mean tone (not to myself, to other patients).

The reception is dirty, ugly and has no privacy: you have to shout through an opening in a window to talk to someone and input your full name and date of birth onto a filthy touchscreen (in a clinic!).

Very keen on punctuality from patients yet are happy for patients to wait: The staff were berating a Polish woman for having 'missed her appointment' because she didn't use the touchscreen and she waited in the queue to talk to a receptionist. They refused to let her child see a doctor.

The doctor is great, but doesn't have much time to do anything.

Six weeks' wait for a cervical screening.

Very shocked at the level of service, having moved from a surgery in a more affluent area. There would seem to be a two tier service in this country.
