"Looked after very well at Royal Liverpool University Hospital"

About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

The staff really look after you, and won't let you out until you're fit to go home. However, there needs to be more nurses; they are always tied up. You never get a chance to get assistance. If HCAs (health care assistants) could do things like operate the drip that would be good. When the alarm goes off on the drip it can take a long time to sort it out and it annoys the other patients.

Thank you for your kind feedback. If you could tell us which ward you were on, then we can look into the staffing levels on that ward - patient safety and experience is our number one priority. Please do get in touch with our PALS team on PALS@rlbuht.nhs.uk or call 0151 706 2265/4903 or typetalk 18001. Thanks and best wishes.
